Audiometry
Performed in ENT (otorhinolaryngology).
What is it?
Audiometry is a test that measures how well you hear sounds of different pitches and volumes. It is used to assess the hearing of each ear. The result is shown on a chart called an audiogram.
What to expect
You wear headphones and raise your hand or press a button when you hear a sound. The test is painless and usually takes about twenty minutes.
